I was sent a check that looked real for the sum of$4, 875.00.Went to my bank to se if this was a real check and was told "no". It is a scam when depositing this check they want you to take 1/2 of it and send it back to them for "tax purposes". I feel totally used and stupid for falling for this-glad I checked with my bank first. Where as a senior citizen would fall for this and get screwed!
