I deposited the check from them in the bank, it cleared, but i did not use the money, bank says scam

This is a mystery shopper scam.axiom marketing sent me a check for $3594.00.following the instructions, i deposited the check in my savings account. when the check cleared i told my dad about this.

he said not to touch the money and to go to the bank and show them the papers from axiom.according to the bank if i took out the money and wired most of it to axiom as instructed, i would have to pay the bank back all monies plus fees due to the fake check.

this scam is the same as confidential shopping inc.which this website has a report on.
