Just wanted to let you know that the scam is going around! On Monday April 7, 2008 I received a notice from them stating that I won $250000 US. Like the others reported it stated that I won and I needed to cash the $4200 and send $3200 to release the funds or as they say Tax Clearance Fee. My claims agent was Marissa Miller who was quite pleasant. The info that was given to me was as follows:
We are pleased to announce that you are one of the third catagory winners the Mega Millions... If you get a check in the mail like this contact this website to help others avoid the false hopes that I had been thinking about.
Everything looks real convincing but please take a day or two to really look over the check. It appears to be very convincing and authentic. First thing to look for is spelling. Mine had Ner Castle instead of New Castle and Mongomery instead of Montgomery, notice the r should be a w and the t is missing... Please Please Please do not cash the check it is a huge scam
