Winning Final Notification with Sizable Check Enclosed, Appeared Legit. Always skeptical, I checked first. It Saved Me!

I received a final notification from PowerPoint Financial Inc. It included a check for four thousand eight hundred and ninety dollars. The letter directed me to contact Bill Hensley within five business days to make my claim to the prize.

This looked like it could have been legitimate, but I am always skeptical, so I decided to check this out on-line. What I found was disturbing. All I can think of are the people who are more trusting and would have taken this at face value.

I decided to call the number on the letter to see if there might be additional information that I might share here and, as others mentioned, the man who answered the call could barely speak English. The accent was not Canadian nor was it French. I was told to call back in a half hour. Needless to say, I did not call back.
