I got a letter today saying that I had won 75, 000 dollars in a computer ballot system where my lucky ticket had won in the second category. It states that Publishers Clearing House and Readers Digest were sponsors. It says it is my Final notice and I have until Oct.27, 2007 to contact them with my ticket # and speak to my claims broker, Mr. Kevin Khan at 647-834-8871.
Actually, now that I am reading more I see that I have been a part of the 2006 International promotions Program, thats weird its 2007, not to mention all the typos and poor grammar in the letter. Anyhow the check that I have here for $4992.80 sure does look real, watermarks and routing numbers and what not.
I feel like someone has other personal information about me and this is why I have been targeted; I may appear to a stranger to be just the type of person to be living in a dream world and cash this check.
What should I do? Just forget about it?
