Readers Digest Publisher's Clearing House Scam

I've received a letter in the mail saying: "Final Winning Notification" "... notify you of an outstading winning claim... sweepstakes/lottery with serial # US 2005-23-011.."

It's said that my share of "$96.00.00" (meaning 96, 000.00) had "been deposited in an escrow account peding claim."

The letter had a check enclosed in the amount of U$4, 600.00 from a bank in Florida and in the letter they say that the check is in the amount of U$4, 400.00. So, obiviously, there was something very fishy about all this. Misspellings, wrong dollar amounts, a guy with the name of LARRY SMITH that doesn't answer his phone and has some foreiner (sounded african) aswering for him. What a rip-off. Who they think I am to fall for something like this? And that's not the first time these kind of stuff is sent to me.
