R T S Inventments
Ripoff

My wife bought a Kirby from this outfit on the 18th of August.

The contract she signed says that the automatic payments would come out on the 6th of each month.
Then we got a letter from the finance company (united consumer financial servicec in toronto but if you call the 800 number, you'll get ohio) stating that the payments would come out on the 17th of each month.

When we called the number and told tham that the 17th was no good and that the contract my wife signed said the 6th, the girl on the other end got quite rude and said that they didn't have a copy of the canadian contract and if we didn't want to pay on the 17th, they would cancell the automatic withdrawal and we would have to pay the full ammount at once.

She then hung up on us.

we tried to get hold of r t s inventments but the number was a cel phone that was turned off.

It was then i found the 1-888 number on THIS site and finally managed to get hold of them. When we finally got thru, we told the girl what had happened and that the contract my wife had signed stated the 6th. We also told her that since what we had signed wasn't what the finance company had decided on, they could come and get the thing as we would not be paying for it.

She told us that she was the manager, but there would be someone else coming there in a few days who would tell us the same thing.
"You signed the contract so too bad"

I guess this report should be about the united consumer financial services company as well and the way the girl on the phone was so rude.
