For the last two days, my husband has received a phone call after playing a sweepstakes game.
The individual identifies himself as an employee of US Customs Service and states that they have confiscated two checks, each in the amount of $50, 000.
The first day my husband said it was a scam and said he was going to report the company to the authorities and hung up.
The second day, the same call came in and my husband said, "Didn't someone call here yesterday and I told you that this was a scam and that I was going to report the call."
The person who called asked if he had "reported them" and my husband said no...
The individual then asked, do you want me to send you the checks or do you want me to send them back... so then he said to the guy, if you have checks on mine then send them to me, obviously you have my address if you have my phone number... and the guy hung up.
