I gotta say something.
After reading these complaints (and yes, I understand it is a COMPLAINT board) I've realized something. Most of the general public are real morons. They are impatient, rude and ignorant and it drives me nuts.
For example, restaurants can't win. Let's take KFC. They make a certain amount of chicken and have a huge rush of people. They keep making more but it's never enough because someone has come in to order chicken for twelve people. They run out. Yes it sucks, but it does happen. When they tell you it will be fifteen minutes until they can serve you your chicken, that is because they are MAKING IT FRESH. This is a good thing.
On the other hand, they make a bunch of chicken, preparing for the dinner rush and it isn't half as busy as they expected. So they have all this leftover chicken. Being an expensive meat, they don't want to just throw out chicken that is still good so they serve it to customers. Well, then other customers get ticked off because they are being served chicken that has been sitting there for ten minutes.
See? They just can't win.
The customer is NOT always right. In fact, the customer is hardly ever right.
The world does not revolve around the customer. If a restaurant has screwed up your order, yes it should be fixed but don't go charging down the door and demanding to be served instantly, despite the fact that others are patiently waiting their turn in line.
People drive me CRAZY.
