Recently I was looking to buy Nintendo Wii. Most stores are sold out. So I did a Google search and came up with this website. It had some awesome deal where you could get the Wii and a bunch of games for only $330 and $10 shipping.
So I went to the checkout and put all my shipping info in and where it usually asks for your credit card info, it immediatly goes to a message saying payment is offline. So I check my email and it gives me these instructions on how to pay them through wiring the money with MoneyGram.
At this moment I had a feeling that something was wrong, but decided to go ahead and wire $340 to them. I sent them a message saying I wired the money and received a reply with a tracking number. I clicked the tracking number and it brought me to an item that has already been shipped in Texas.
So I messaged them again and asked for a correction and they never responded. I have messaged them about three times since then and no reply.. I also have called their "support number" and only found a weird answering machine message. I left two messages their too, and never heard back.
Today their website is suddenly taken down. I can't believe people can do things like this and get away with it. I know I will never see my money again, but I hope somehow they will be prosecuted for theft.
