I am a western movie fanatic. I really wanted to purchase the complete set of Gunsmoke dvd's and add to my collection. Due to the hard to find nature of this set there were only a few vendor's that i could aquire the set from
I found when i used a search engine to locate the dvd set i kept getting a reference to TVBOXSET.COM. The web page and information therin seemed to be professional and covered all of the aspects of a company of ligitimacy.
I previously had started a collection of the Gunsmoke Collectors Edition dvd's but was not able to continue purchasing them from Columbia House because they closed the video library. I found the same set of dvd's being offered on the TVBoxset.com site. Because the series ran 20 years and I had only purchased up thru the 3 rd season from CH DVD.
So I decieded to order the remaining seasons 4 thru 20 from TVBoxset.com. The amount of money deducted from my credit cards was around 900.00. This guy stole 900.00 from my credit cards. I have made more attempts than I can count.
I have a phone # that I got from the website that the scum left if someone needed to make contact with him. The answering service that is pre-recorded answers = " Thank you for calling the video realm" so this is another name for the human waste on the other end of this rip--off.
I too like many of the other reports I have read was givin a tracking # that led to Canada Post which says they have no record of this shipment.
I have made a habit of coming home from work and sending an email to the jar of phlem that is on the other end of this rip-off to see if I can trigger a response.
This evening I used Alta Vista and ran a search for "Gunsmoke the collectors series" and the search pulled up TVBOXSET.COM. When I searched for the Gunsmoke dvd's the page came up and showed the very dvd's that I ordered. The sickening thing now is that the same dvd's that I ordered and paid in full for in the tune of 900.00 is now being offered on his new web page for 299.00 for the complete set of dvd's.
I am so Pi... ed off about this I want to get on a plane and see if Mr Garcia is really at the address listed. I wont go into what i could do.
After reading the other responses that have posted this rip off artist on this site I cant help but wonder if there isnt something else that myself or the others can do to get this guy. It seems that with all of the $$ he has embezzled there ought to be a way to get him and make him pay. He is getting away with our money and it seems that the people whom is supposed to protect us against this kind of fraud is doing nothing more than taking the report and letting it go.
I have turned this guy into the FBI and IC3 the internet crime division of the FBI. But dont feel that anything will be done. Hopefully this report along with the others might open someone's eye's. Does anyone else have any ideas on how we can come togeather as a group and get something done about this brown substance we need to clean from the shoe's of our society?
