MY husband received a letter today with no return address - looked fishy! The letter head reads: Cyber Grants Inc. And the letter reads on behalf of CGI we had been approved a grant - not a loan. It said we needed to call a number and pay a fee right away - **the exact amount of the check that was sent to my husband in his name. The letter read that after we called the number and paid the fees per their instructions that our grant check of $50, 000.00 would arrive via Fedx or UPS. The check has:
LEAR Corporation at the top as well as JPMORGANCHASE - Also Corporate Headquarters P.O. Box 5110 Southfield, MI 48086-5008.
The letter has:
Cyber Grants Inc
The check looks real and I wanted to report here as well as the BBB. I know times are hard and hope no one falls for this scam. Wish we could erase these people from existance - hate to see those already in hard times getting scammed & hurt even more. Thanks for this site and getting the word out.
