Failed or refused to credit me for a returned item

I returned a HDD and a CPU fan for credit. I had an RMA for ther HDD but could not get one for the fan. They have a difficult method of obtaining an online RMA number. Their phone service is non-existent. I received a credit for the HDD but not the fan. They have stated that the fan was not returned. This is false. I packed both in the same box with a printed note explaining the fault with the fan and reason for returning it. They are calling me a liar when they state that the fan was not returned. There is nothing more I can add. I have to compare them with other reputable companies with whom I have dealt and state that they are not in the same league as Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Crucial, CDUniverse to mention a few. They are tantamount to thieves as far as I am concerned. It is not a huge sum ($38.56) but it is the principal of honesty and decency in their treatment of customers with which I find fault.
