We ordered an item from this company and only after we had ordered it did they advise that they were waiting on new stock which is fine; it happens.
They advised that they would receive stock a week later. A week and a half later, we still had not received anything and had no advice from the company to let us know what was happening.
When we tried to follow it up with the company, but the customer service agent was not very responsive. When we asked that they contact us regarding the matter, they wrote back, "please contact us regarding this matter".
When we advised that we were already waiting for a response from them, they just said they were going to cancel our order - no apology... nothing!
We sent correspondence to the company in several forms requesting information (eg. Customer Service Manager details etc) so that we could make formal complaints in writing. No response.
We then called the head office in Montreal. The person who picked up the phone claimed to be the 'manager' of both the Montreal, UK and North American operations.
She was not very forthcoming with any details of the company.
A credit report pulled 6 Oct 05 revealed that this is a 1-4 person operation with sales of 1-2.5 Millions dollars a year. Although they have a B credit rating, I don't trust this business and their conduct in this instance, for me at least, lends support to my suspicions that this is somewhat less of a legitimate operation.
