Buyer contacted me concerning an item on ebay I was selling, suggested I use this escrow company because they deal with goldmoney, ecurrancy etc... I checked it out as thoroughly as I knew how to - seemed legitimate - so registered.
Buyer purchased the item thru ebay, I started the transaction with the escrow company, they confirmed he had accepted the terms and that the money was there. Now, I can neither contact the buyer (who showed up as an Illinois resident on my invoice but is someone completely different than the buyer who contacted me - who lives in Italy) and the escrow company's website now cannot be accessed - they just disappeared... I have contacted ebay with names, addresses, e-mail addressed, and I have reported this to Square Trade as well.
