I booked a hotel through HOTWIRE which Guarantees Low Price Guarantee. If you see the same hotel cheaper else where then they will refund you. I booked hot price, where you dont know the name of the hotel until you have paid for it. There is no cancellation. After the name was revealed I realised I have seen it cheaper and includes breakfast worth $74 per night. I told Hotwire and they refused to refund the breakfast difference.
Their reply:
I understand there is a price difference between Hotwire. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We base our Low Price Guarantee on the daily pre-tax rate, which in this case was 188.00 per night versus which is 197.00 per night. Because there is a difference of $14 dollars for the overall reservation, I will provide you with the difference in HotDollars. I understand that you are requesting additional compensation, since the [URL Removed] deal includes breakfast. Hotwire will not be providing any further compensation, and this is our final decision. We do not list free breakfast in the amenity listings for this hotel, so we dont guarantee that free breakfast will come with your reservation
