I ordered the trial product. It was supposed to cost $1.95 but my cc was charged the equivalent of $10.95! Next, I received the product after 10 business days, not 4 -7 as advertised. I received confirmation of cancellation, yet they continued to bill my cc for 2 shipments of the product.
After investigating this, I have found the following:
1. What they are doing is legal, believe it or not, because they do say in their disclosure that the third party will bill me.
2. You should call the varimi llc company and confirm cancellation. You should ask the caller's name, and what time and date the cancellation is in effect, and finally get the confirmation #. Their toll-free number is 866-797-7348. Unfortunately, if you do not send the product back and cancel the trial in time, they are free to bill you for 2 shipments of the product because they will cancel your account from their "Preferred customer program" (gee thanks), and then contend that they already shipped the product before or at the time you were billed. Nice little scam.
Here is the nice little cancellation notice I received, notice that there is no cancellation confirmation number:
"Thank you for taking the time to try out DazzeSmile. This is an automated message to confirm that you have recently been removed from our preferred customer program; therefore you will no longer be receiveing any more DazzeSmile products or shipments unless a shipment had already been shipped prior to your cancellation.
Please keep this cancellation note for future reference."
In any event, I got scammed for close to $200CAD or $180USD. I would suggest that you stay away from the product. Based on the lack of moral and ethical behavior I have experienced with them, I would not trust that the product has been tested by UL, FDA and/or CSA or any other standards organization that oversees this type of product - no doubt their crafty lawyers found a way around that as well ;)
