Tennessee Regional Safety Council
Deceptive Advertising

I purchased Quad Registry, Quad Atispyware and PDF Software on January 27, 2010. Their adverstising indicated that I purchased the program. I was given license keys for each program and installed them on my computer. Auad Antispyware stopped working about six months later. I was unable to redownload the program and found internet information that the program was no longer offered by the company. On March 21, 2011 I attempted to use Quad Registry Cleaner. The opening screen said that I had an unregistered copy. When I put the license key in to reactivate it took me to another screen requiring me to repurchase the program. I contacted the company and was told that all I had purchased was a one year license that had now expired. No where on the web site I purchased the program from in 2010 indicated this. I feel they are being very deceptive in how they market their programs, customer support is none existent and when challenged they refuse to offer any satisfaction. I would recommend that this company be boycotted.
