If it sounds to good to be true it usually is, I received a check from Capital Financial Inc, in the amount of $4, 750.00, for a sweepstakes I supposely entered and won. I have no clue as to which one because I do enter sweepstakes evey opportunity I get. So, the letters states call Brian before depositing your check. So I called Brian Davis and he answered the phone like you would answer if you were home. It was a business greeting like "this is Brian Davis from Capial Financial."
So to me that was a red flag! So he said "just deposit the check and contact me after you do so and I will start the processing of your other monies" so I said okay. Well I went to Chase Bank where the check was processed and they made a few phone calls and to make a longer story short it is a scam!!!
I don't think people should get away with this time scam, because times are hard and people do need money and to build someone's hopes to find out it is a fraud is down right low down. So this guys should be brought to justice!!! Because GOD knows I can not to dish out money for a scam!!!
