WORLD CLASS LOTTERY - David Brown
, Correspondent Agent Scam fraudulent lottery and check I lost $2700 ripoff

Received a letter from the above subject on a second notice beginning of January 2007, stating I had won a prize of $75000., enclosed with an official looking fraudulent check drawn from BB&T bank for $2700. I called the phone number on the check someone told me that the check was for me and to cash it, an advance to pay federal taxes due on the winnings.

I do not live near BB&T bank and also have a transportation problem, The branch of BB&T local asked me to bring it in to them to find out whether this was legit. I called David Brown, World Lottery, Inc, Correspondent Agent, he calls me back we have a conversation.

We discussed how they had my info to enter me in a lottery i was not aware of. Also, discussed why I threw away the first notice, which I should have also done with this and have spared my self this horrrible, nightmare situation, much stress and agravation and a loss of $2700, and Lord knows what else.

David Brown assured me that this was all legit to take the check to my bank which is Bankofamerica and to wire by Western Union The tax payment of $2500. the wiring fee was $138.99 to, to whom he stated was federal agent responsible, Lucy Jones, 321 7th Avenue, Calgary AB, Canada.

Everyone needs to avoid this scam and a fraud. I wish I had. The nightmare began, for me, when I made the deposit into my bank which is a fraudulent check. Although, I have been, with, my bank, about 19 years they closed my account immediately. I and my husband are seniors and have direct deposits of pension checks also pay certain bills direct deposit,

I have created unknowingly, a mess that I feel, sick, anxious, unable to sleep, angry, I am victim of a scam, this is a federal offense, but the perpetrators, need to be brought to justice, face jail and heavy fines.

Just like, myself there are many victims of this scam in particular. I hope that I can get my $2700 back, the scam needs to stop and stop all these operations. I though that I was winning something and have fallen in something financiallly hurtful at the age of 62.

I reported to: Phone Busters Canada, Western Union fraud, US Postal Service Investigations, Police Department, FTC.
Please, do not be victims and any advise of what else to do is sincerely appreciate.
