Swiss Lotto SCAM, Certificate of award.
Letter says: that you have won a great amount of money, $88, 000, and that it is an international promotions program. They may say that you entered it on internet. Also states that a tax and clearance fee of $sum has been financed with the enclosed check. You can deposit it or best of all you can take it to your bank and CASH it. The fees then have to be remitted to the North American Agent. The Sponsor Company who issues the Check will get about 8% of your winnings just for being a sponsor. You are also to keep this confidential.
I received this letter, called my Designated agent. Her name at the time was Sandra Allen's office, Jone Paylore in Calgary Alberta She said CONGRADULATIONS MAM you have won 88, 000 I spoke to her for almost half an hour. I had entered something on the net 3 months ago.
She Urged me that the Check I had in my hand was Legit, take it and Cash it thru your bank, then you have to Wire the funds to the address of your North American Agent. In this case Her name was Nancy Johnson, in Hull Canada.
The Check was written from a Fortune 500 company in the US. I thought WOW, this is awsome. I took the Check and we went to my MOMS Bank. Cashed the Check, which was ran by the Bank. Then went to a Western Union, I was told to Wire the Money of $1855.25 to this Nancy Johnson, and i did so. Then called my Contact back Jone Paylore, She said that a Check would be Cut the following monday, and sent to me Via FedEX and delivered to me on September 25, 2006. Also FedEX would need 2 forms of ID, and the Papers from Western Union to show that I paid the Taxes and clearance fees. And that a Sponsor from the Euro International Lotto would Visit my home in Colorado, and Escort me to the Bank to Deposit My winnings. SCAM SCAM SCAM FRAUD FRAUD.
4 days later the Chech was returned to my mom's bank and the sum of $1998.75 was debited from her account, also FedEX has no information for a delivery to me in Colorado. I contact jone Paylore again and they refused to give a tracking #, and called the Accounting Dept # that she gave me to talk about they BOUNCED CHECK. Names are Sara Givins, or David Sanchez for now. and they said they would issue another check, that they had to put stop payments on a few checks. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS IT IS COMPLETLEY A FRAUD.
After doing research I relized that I had not won a dime. They do not have sponsor companies. I called the REAL Fortune 500 Company and reported this scam to them, these scammers are using US Companies GOOD NAMES, They opened an investigation into this, finding out that these people create the ck's themselves, send you a winning sheet, get you to cash the Check, and wire the $$$$ to another address in Canada.
I made Reports thru all of my local agencies, FBI, CBI, Federal Division of HSecurity, The Bank FDIC, BBB, Federal Trade Comm and the Canadian mounted royal police etc. I also went to my Police Dept.
What ever you do, DO NOT CASH THE CHECK, IT IS A FORGED DOCUMENT, BUT LOOKS REAL, IT WILL BE RETUNED TO YOUR BANK, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE MONEY BACK TO YOUR ACCT. THE MONEY YOU WIRE TO CANADA WILL BE PICKED UP VERY QUICKLY, AND UNTRACEABLE, I HAVE LEARNED A VERY HARSH LESSON, AND HAVE HELPED THIS GROUP GET MONEY THEY DID NOT DESERVE, OR WORK FOR YOU CAN BE IN LOTS OF TROUBLE FOR LAUNDERING MONEY AS THIS IS WHAT IT IS CALLED. AND YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE DONT GET SUCKED IN TAKE THE FORGED CK TO YOUR LOCAL PD AND FILE REPORT. IT IS ALSO ILLEGAL TO PLAY LOTTORY ACCROSS INTERNATIONAL LINES. ALL OF THIS I DID NOT KNOW. THANKS TO THE GREELEY COLORADO PD I AM NOW AWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANIES AND THEY'RE SCAMMING PEOPLE
