This company sent me a check for $2998.76 saying I won the Royal British Lotto for $107, 646.00. The check is to be used to cover International clearance fees. Total award is $115, 500.00 minus $7854.00 (6.8% Sponsor's Commission) and I would receive $107, 646.00 by Federal Express as soon as I deposited the check into my account.
I was told to contact their designated North American Agent who was, Eddy King of Imperial Financiers Management Group at 948 Sutton Drive, Winnipeg, MB. They claim to be an accredited agency to BRITISH MEGA LOTTO at 204-951-6416. And I must claim before December 11.
He told me to deposite the check into my account (that wasn't going to happen) and call him back. I called back later with some questions and he seemed to be getting agitated with my questions. I told him the bank was closed, and he told me to deposite it Monday. This gave me time to do some checking around about it and I found this website about all the scams.
I'm glad I did some checking around about it before someone ripped me off.
