Earlier this year, I employed Simon from GC Heating to service my Gas fire place. During servicing Simon broke the glass in the door. He then tried to charge me over $400 to replace the glass, that he, himself had broken. Being a senior I was very upset with the prospect of a $400 bill that I could not afford and I refused to pay for the servicing. Simon promised me, he would return with another glass for my fireplace free of charge, if I paid for the servicing. GC Heating cashed my check the following day. It has been almost 5 months since, I have not received the glass for my fireplace and now they are avoiding my calls. Another company has looked at my fireplace, they told me it was still dirty and it should have taken longer than the 15 minutes Simon took to service it. I feel completely taken advantage of. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
