Just replying to previously filed report of leaking FARLY WINDOWS. i have also purchased these windows from home depot.. 5 of 8 windows leaked from day one. i reported this to HD and of course they blamed it on the installation since we did it our selves. after different inspectors were sent out to the house (period of 2 yrs) they were finally replaced.. just to leak again. this started in 2005 and continues to this date. they keep passing me off and said my roof leaks and it was the installation once again..the catch being, that the 2nd time they installed them..but that doesnt matter because they have been passing the buck since the 2nd install and told me that insatlls are only warrantied for 1 yr..i cant understand why they were replaced once because of faulty manufacture and they still leak in the exact same spot but its my roof.. also, one glass cracked and a replacement sent to me. when the man from island glass came to install it, he mentioned that the widow had not been sealed inside which was the reason for the crack..due to mvmt etc. there was no silicone seal to hold it in place. needless to say that the new glass was not put in because the replacent was 1-2 inches too small on the w & h.. so the game continues and i wait to hear a response from HD..
starting to feel helpless and frustrated
