Fastteks in London Ontario took 2.15 hours and charged $206.85 CDN for one visit just to set up a simple Trendnet WIFI in a residential house!
When queried about this after the fact, the franchise manager and the part-time staff (James) who did the work laughed about how the client liked James so much that the client gave him milk and cookies while James was in the house and on the job. James mentioned that he had never used a Trendnet before and that was part of the reason it took him so long - but then James denied that he had ever said that when it was pointed out that the client had basically paid for his training and his "milk and cookies" work break. Without prior consdent or discussion from the client, James also removed the antivirus on the computer and proceeded to screw things up so badly that Fastteks had to send someone back twice to fix things up ("at no charge" the franchise manager repeatedly pointed out) - unbelievable!
A complete fraud - whoever heard of taking 2.15 hours to setup a simple Wifi!
