This moving company was friendly and pushed to get me to book them with a "Book with us now and we'll give you a special rate". I had asked for email confirmation of the arrangements quote and receipt when I gave them my m/c number, but did not get it, Then I asked again and Mel told me he sent it but he would send it again. I never got it, they already had the deposit. They promised me they would travel up to Fort McMurray, be there at 11:00 am to load and unload in Spruce Grove and be done by 8:30 pm. They didn't get to the house untill 4:00 pm. They decided to do the move in two days and did not notify me. I had talked to them the day before and Mel never mentioned altering the arrangements. My husband took the day off work for nothing. Upon delivery the next day, which they were late for that as well, they held my belongings hostage because they forgot the special deal they gave me. They tried to charge $0.49 per pound vs the $0.40 cents, they they included a service fee of $650 to go up to Fort McMurray. They didn't mention it when we booked. They banged up my walls, Badly, brand new house, then offered to come fix it for a fee. They don't have insurance, they don't have their own truck, they rented it, and they are sly and friendly. Con-artists.
