In February of 2006 I took my 1998 Chrysler minivan to a locksmith called Lock Surgeon in Edmonton, Alberta. I asked them if they could repair two locks on my vehicle, one that would seize up whenever the temperature dropped below freezing and the other would not open with a key. I was assured that they could do the job and was verbally quoted a price for the job.
After almost a week of excuses as to why my vehicle was not ready, I was then charged over twice the price I was quoted but I stupidly paid it because I just wanted to have nothing more to do with this company. Then I discover they damaged the door panel and the electronics on my vehicle were not working properly. So I had to bring it into the shop yet again.
They repaired the damage but a week later I discover the repair job was botched on the door panel. The owner of the company refused to talk to me directly. I chose this company because it had previously won a Consumer's Choice Award. But after being lied to and cheated I would never consider using the services of this locksmith again. They are absolutely one of the worst businesses that I have dealt with in over 25 years of living in the city of Edmonton.
