We purchased an Armada from Eagle Ridge and during the discussions asked several times if the vehicle is a Canadian vehicle. The response each time was "yes it is a Canadian vehicle; from Alberta". It made sense to us since the odometer was in kms and the safety stickers were all in english/french. We really did not want a vehicle from the US due to concerns about warranty and the influx of US vehicles with issues (re: lemon law in the states).
Upon trying to get some ABS work done (supposed to be warranty work) we were informed by the Nissan service dept that not only is our vehicle from the USA, but that we have no warranty as the odometer was changed to kms and not done through a correct process.
The issue was taken to Eagle Ridge who, for the past several months, have been promising to "make us happy customers" and to "resolve the problem"... well guess what? Now in order to get us into another vehicle they want more money. Seems they do not want to take responsibility for a problem created soley by them - they should have known the history of the vehicle before they made false statements.
Keep in mind that when you find out what they have not disclosed, you then become responsible for reporting it when you try to get rid of the vehicle.
Bottom line... steer clear - you will pay once for your used vehicle, and then pay again due to their deceipt when you deal with Eagle Ridge GMC.
Really how many of us can afford to take a hit to the tune of $30, 000???
