In mid April 2008 I entered a verbal agreement with Darren Foley. Darren Foley agreed to replace my engine with a used engine for the amount of approximately $3, 000.00. Darren Foley communicated to me that in order to get the engine his friend had to have the money upfront. On April 22, I gave Darren $2, 600.00 (26 - $100 bills) to put in a new engine into my 2000 Jaguar. Darren stated that the engine would take a couple of weeks to arrive and one day to install the motor. Three days later on April 24, I received a phone call from Darren stating " I have fantastic news for you. There may be a recall on your engine from the manufacturer of Jaguar motors". He also stated that he would get back to me later that day with more information for me. He phoned the following day April 25 and said that the engine had recalled. Darren had also told that he would return my $2, 600.00 and he would also install the new motor. Trusting Darren I was ecstatic with joy.
Well time continued on and I had not heard anything from Darren, so I called him a week alter to inquire how the job was going and he had told me continuous lies and at this point the car had been there for 3 months. I felt it was necessary to have my car removed from his premises. So on July 16, 2008 I had my car towed back to my home in Kitchener. I am now out of pocket approximately $3.000.00. The many times I have tried to contact him on his cell phone his voice mail box has always been full and I could not leave a message. I found the best way to contact him was by going to his shop directly and waiting for him to show up and 95% of the time he never showed up.
I am tired of all this BS, something has to be done about this deceiving liar who constantly scams people out of thousands of $$.
