Purchased two used trucks over the course of 3 weeks. The first truck ended up needing the engine rebuilt so we opted for a different truck. This truck also ended up with major issues that Feeney wasn't prepared to correct.
Decided not to do business with them and they would only refund $1, 800 out of a $3000 deposit indicating that we had to pay for the Warranty we were going to purchase. Our question, we don't have the truck or warranty, why do we have to pay for it?
Refused to issue the $1, 800 cheque until all documents were returned them (safety, contract etc.)
We suspect they may be getting falsified safety documents, both vehicles had braking problems that should not have passed a safety inspection.
We will investigate the possibility of small claims court.
