Sent me a letter claiming I won $250K in a sweepstakes in Canada. Enclosed a check for $4, 670.00. Letter stated I need to send them $3, 860 to cover the taxes and that we needed to call a claims agent named Patrick Johnson at 1-778-858-0437.
They told us to send the money via "Moneygram" to a tax agent named Karen Burns at 5542 Broadway Street in Brandon, Manitoba.
