They sent me a letter advising me that I was a winner in a sweepstakes lotery held on April 1, 2008. Enclosed was a check for $4, 950.00 to pay for "Non-residence Government Service tax." I called and talked to Mery Johnson who advised me to deposit the check into my account and in 2 business days the check would clear. After the check cleared I was to send $3, 700 to a "tax agent" and my winnings would be immediately sent by fed-ex to me. I called the bank that the check was supposedly drawn from and was informed that the check was fraudulant... the bank account does not exist!
If you get any correspondence form theis company I strongly urge you to contact your local police and DO NOT CASH OR DEPOSIT THE CHECK!!! YOUR BANK WILL HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE!
