Make sure you check your credit card bills carefully. It's very important to scrutinize every charge, which you should do on a monthly basis. In this particular case, I returned from Japan, where I teaching English. To my surpise when I checked my credit card bills, there was a charge on my credit card for the last 6 months in a row (ranging between 12.95 and 14.95). I just couldn't understand, how I was getting charged for some type of service, when my credit card was left in Canada. I called the 1-800-847-7860, and asked about this charge, and when I spoke to a representative, they stated that 1) No one under my name was registered, I then proceeded to ask them "how could you charge my credit card??? " They replied that unless I gave them another credit card number", they couldn't give me any information. As predicted, ... I declined to give them any more information. I then googled "lifestyle rewards fraud", and was amazed to see that there were over 300 pages regarding the fraud of this company. My step was to call my credit card company, which I did, and was pleased to be refunded the amount of close to $100.00 back to my card. According to someone I talked to at lifestylerewards.ca, the way that they get people to purchase there membership is that they purchase a list from other companies, such as lavalife. Once they have this information, they automatically sign you up for the card, and began to charge your credit card immediately. Supposedly they send you a notification (which I did not receive), telling you are a member of the service, and that you can cancel at any time. What they don't tell you is that 1) You never signed up for the service, and more importantly 2) That your credit cards will start to be billed ($12.99-$14.99). When I spoke to someone at the fraud departement with my credit card, he said that they were 'well aware of lifestylerewards.ca, and that they are currently under investigation not only from the credit card company, but they are soon going to served criminal charges in the Superior Court of Quebec".
PLEASE MEMBERS CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARDS, AND NOTIFY YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY IMMEDIATELY IF YOU SEE A CHARGE OF ($12.99 between $14.99) FROM LIFESTYLEREWARDS.CA

Here's a quick update, .. members, I read the newsapaper today, and was happy to hear that lifestylerewards.ca was finally charged under the Criminal Code, with close to 400 different criminal charges... it was about time.
