Consumer rip-off fraud dishonest

I received a call on a sunday. A person by the name of Matt Medoza from the compay Capital One. Telling me I was pre-approved for 2 credit cards, a Master Card and a Visa for credit limits of $2K and $2500, for a cost to me of $199.00 check by phone.

I asked for his name, adress, and phone number. I also aked him why I had to pay in advance, he said that they had dealt with too many dishonest poeple, and that it was a security for the compay.

I gave him all my information (like an idiot) over the phone. He said I would get my cards in the mail within 7 - 10 days.

I never received my cards, and the phone number they gave me was always directed to a voicemail that would always cut me off. I was furious!!!

I tried for 2 weeks searching the internet, until finally, I found the rip-of report. Then I filed complaints with the FTA and the BBB. I hope I get something out of this!
