The freelance website claims on its Home Page that posting a porject is FREE, However, when you post a project they automatically deduct US$5 from your account as Prepaid Credit. In case you do not get qualified bids from freelancers and decide to cancel the project, it is then upto the management of Scriptlance to decide whether you get a refund of the prepaid US$5 you paid or not. You have to plead, explain and almost apologise before they even bother to refund your hard earned money.
Earlier, they used to automatically credit the US$5 to your account once you cancel a project. Not any more. Now they want you to work for your own money and act high and mighty (almost like school teachers) before they give you back that money. They should have sent an email to all customers before changing their policy on cancelled projects as a courtesy, if not a legal requirement.
The worst part of that they still advertise in BOLD on their Home Page that: POST A PORJECT... Its Free!.. In my books, I call that scam... Misleading advertising? Do you agree?
