Pure Lift
Unethical and misleading business

Ordered a "free sample" of Pure Lift beauty cream and agreed to pay for shipping on internet. Then immediately called the company to cancel the order as I didn't think the shipping was going to be $12 CAD. (thought it was $5)

They said they couldn't possibly cancel it as it was already ordered. (5 minutes later!) So figured I was stuck with it and that was it.

Next month I have a charge of $87.62 USD with "youthsupp" on it and also a charge of $24.82 USD for "elitepack"

I called CIBC visa and explained that I had some strange charges on my bill not having any idea what they were.. Then the light went on and I thought someone from Vibrant Beauty must have copied it and tried to pull a fast one on me. Apparently, these were charges that I had agreed to when I ordered the cream even though I NEVER ticked off any boxes saying that I agreed to these terms of agreement.

They were charges for the "free" cream that I was supposed to return in 14 days for a refund AND a mysterious Worldfitnessclub.com which gave me a membership that I had to cancel. I had NO IDEA and was totally mislead. Why didn't this internet site email me explaining things to me??

Because they are crooks and make a living screwing people around!! I will never order anything on the internet again because even my CIBC Visa company won't reverse the charges.

Unbelievable that Visa lets this company carry on with this highly unethical and misleading business practice!
