On March 25, 2008, my husband ordered Matrix racing seats at $369 per pair and 2 professional racing seat harnesses from shophyperformance.com. The Harnesses were 118.00 and shipping was 58.23 for a total of 545.23.

They charged our credit card immediately. On March 27th, 2008, they wrote us an email saying that the Matrix seats are on backorder and they offered to upgrade to OMZ racing elite series. We called them on March 28th and said that we do not want the upgrade. We want the Matrix seats that we originally ordered.

On April 4th, 2008, we received the OMZ seats that we did not order or want. My husband called hyperformace 13 times trying to get an RMA, shipping label, address, anything so that we could return the seats for a refund. They kept pretending that we had never called before, always had a different story and never sent us and RMA, shipping label or address. We NEVER got the harnesses.

Finally, on April 10th, someone from the BOMZ racing warehouse called and spoke to my husband. They are the drop-shipper for HYPERFORMANCE. They were told by Pam at HYPERFORMANCE that our seats were damaged. My husband said that they were not defective, only the wrong item. We finally got some labels from BOMZ racing so that we could return the seats. We did so and the warehouse received them on May 12, 2008.

To this day, December 4, 2008, we have received the wrong item and returned it as promptly as we could, never received the racing harnesses and have not received a single penny of refund.

We disputed with the credit card company CITIBANK, and they sent the money to hyperperformance anyway because Pam at hyperperformance told them that we had accepted the charge. They also stated that since we did not return the seats directly to the merchant in Toronto, we were not eligible for a credit.

I have spoken to Pam several times myself trying to get a refund and she absolutely refuses to return our money. She has lied to me during our conversations. (She told me that my husband dropped the F-bomb on her- my husband does not use that word... ever. She also told me that my husband never contacted her for a refund before contacting CITIBANK and I know that he called 13 times requesting a refund and RMA). I know that she also has lied to CITIBANK in order to retain our money.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
