, false advertising, rude service and unhealthy conditions

I booked 3 nights at the Holiday House Motel in Penticton.
The staff was rude on the phone (which I should have seen as a warning sign) when I booked, but with limited options we choose that one.

We had reserved a 2 bed room with a kitchenette, and upon our arrival were given a one bed room - with no kitchenette. We went right to the front desk to get the room adjusted to what we had reserved, only to be told that that is what we had requested (with 3 kids and 2 adults, booking one bed and no kitchen is a joke). They moved us to a new room with 2 beds, (at a higher charge than they had quoted us when booking). When we went into that room - the smell of mold and urine was unbearable. We packed up and left and requested our money back (all of this within 20 minutes of arriving).

This is where it got really bad. Not only would they not give our money back - but they went ahead and charged us for the 3 nights we had reserved. They were beyond rude and ignorant - the owner should not be dealing with people.

I would highly reccomend staying away from Holiday House Motel in Penticton!!
