Hi, never pay the membership to curves in FULL OR JOIN CURVES AT ALL!!!.. i made that mistake and paid in full for the year. i was injured and could not attend, i was told from the manager at the time to come and sign a form to put my membership on hold.. I did... 6 months later i get a call from a new manager saying that the location was closing and i had a choice to bring in a dr.notes for the time i was off and get a refund or i could transfer my membership to another location.. I brought in a dr. note and said i would like a refund.. I was told from the new manager that i would get a cheque in 4-6weeks.. i called this manager and left voice mails and left messages with other workers asking her to return my phone calls and let me know what was happening with my refund, because it now has been 8weeks... she never return my calls..i tracked her down today and she tells me that i will get no money back because i didn't give a dr.note way back in sept. when the membership was put on hold... i told her the other manager never told me to get a DR.note just to sign the form to put it on hold..when i was asked to get the note, i did... rate away, i did everything i was asked, when asked... but see if i wanted to bring the membership over to another location that would not of been a problem at all... is it my fault the location i joined closed? NO.. so why am i not gettting a refund.. when i did give a dr. note saying i could not work out.. because they are greedy... DO NOT JOIN A GYM WHERE THE MANAGERS LIE!!!
