Thank goodness for this site, in did!
After being aproached in the same manner: Nicholas Martin e-mail, then Susan's phone, I went there (on 350 Bay Street) for my first interview, last week. I met one of those - so called - Senior Career Directors and was told how exceptional my background is and how my "transferable skills" are going to work in the future.
I encountered all those feelings described by some of the other people going through this, from the unprofessional papers that were given to me to fill out to the "I'll be right back after I talk to my boss about how fantastic you are". He came back and told me that I am "definitely" qualified for the second step interview, with my husband (???) on Wednesday this week. Lots of question marks because this is soooooo unusual.
Well, thanks to all of you that filled this report, I will cancel this meeting. I feel like I did my homework and now can sleep like a baby.
Thanks again.
