I received this letter yesterday telling me that I was entitled to $450K from a "compensation draw" in a Canadian sweeps/lottery. Naturally, since I had played Canadian lotto before, I thought my time had come. Imagine my surprise to Googling "sun trust" and "Tyco Electronics". Tyco appears to be a legitimate electronics business, with no reason to send me a check. Either someone in their employ stole a bunch of blanks, or someone with a knack for forging got busy watermarking paper to appear legit. After reading complaint, I am happy to say I've lost nothing, but maybe helped someone else. I too am going to attempt foiling these guys using legal means and postal reporting. Thank you RR.
