I just called the bank from where the personal check came - City National Bank of Beverly Hills, CA, phone#: (310) 888-6000. The gal I spoke with confirmed that the personal check is fraudulant. THIS IS A SCAM! Luckily, they didn't get me with it, but I feel sorry for those they did get.
