Just received a letter and a check (it looks very good, but based on what I have read an excellent forgery) from Uper Fox Securities. The check is for $4, 875.00 USD to pay the applicable government taxes.
Since they have been unsuccessful in contacting me I am entitled to the sum of $125, 000.00 USD and it has been forwarded to the Clearing/distribution institution for release to me.
I am requested to forward the tax amount by Western Union or Moneygram directly to the tax agent, but do not attempt to use this check until I call.
