I received a letter from Starluck Casino.. inclosed was very real looking check.. for $4, 950.00 which the letter stated was for fees to collect my part of a $586, 000 prize that I had somhow (with 6 others) won..my lump sum it states is $95, 000.. I got this 3 days before christmas..and they said the cutoff date to claim my money is december 24th.. I got this letter on Sat the 22nd.. I nearly flipped out and I like a fool got excited and called my Dad.. (I was ready to deposit the check via the ATM) Its almost Christmas!! My Dad told me to Google "Starluck Casino" and Im glad I did.. this is a scam!! they get you so excited and with only 1 day to claim.. they want you to do about anything not to miss out on ur money (even take out and send them money to cover the so called check ..while it clears.. pretty slick .. Im glad I did my research.. but it sucks that this is not real.. I really started to dream for a second.. (feel stupid) oh well. and by the way I found out the check is fake .. and if a teller does take it and you spend some of it.. ur responsible to pay it back..!! crappy scam!!
