I got a check in the mail and a letter that told me that I had won the Primier Lotto in Dublin, Ireland. It started that the check for 2999.25 was for clearance fees and that I should forward 2845.00 to the North America Agents and that they would inturn send me my winning of 125, 710.00. Of course I need the money, so I did in fact deposit the check. I wanted to find out more about the Premier Lotto so I got online and to my surprise I found this website. It's been a couple of days since I put the check in the bank, and now, it's a scam. I know that the money will never be there because I called the bank it was drawn on and they too tell me that It's a fake. The bank is Wachovia and the company it's from is Bear Stearns & Co. INC.. I just hope that whoever these people are, are put to justice.
I did get the pressure to call the woman back and tell her what I thought about her and I made sure I told her all about this website and how I would report her to the police. I don't think it makes any difference to them, but it felt good to tell her off.
I just hope that this website helps others from being fooled as I was.
