Crystal Indoor Air ripoff Misleading false promises of air fares to Hawaii to get their sales person in your door, and rude denials!!

I would happily add my name to the list of consumers fed up with being lied to by this company, Class One Air.

I was contacted by phone Feb 8, 06. I was advised that they were responding to a consumer survey that I had completed which pertained to medical devices. Perhaps just a fluke, but I have completed quite a few as a business and start-up company professional. They wanted to know if I would provide my comments and opinion on their medical device and would offer me a trip to Hawaii. Knowing these 'offers' are usually a scam, with friends standing beside me so they could hear the response, I asked if there was any sales pitch, and was told no. I asked if there were any limitations or restrictions on the tickets, and was told no, they were mine to use as I saw fit and they would be endorsed once they had gone through the questionnaire. I explained that I was very busy and had no time for any sales pitch at all. The fellow told me 10 -15 minutes, and I agreed.

On arrival, the salesperson, an extremely nice young lady, told me the presentation would take 15-25 minutes. I asked what the 'presentation' was and as suspected, it was a sales pitch. I explained our scenario and my conversations with their telephone person. She informed me that she did not have any control over what the telemarketers said, and apologized. She then signed over the voucher for the free tickets, and lo and behold it said that we had to purchase all of our accomodations through the travel agent on the coupon. Since we already have a timeshare, this restriction made the voucher useless.

The salesperson then received a phone call from her home office. I told the caller, Mr. Rick Blanchet, that I was unimpressed and what had happened. He wantd to make sure the young lady was not being harmed (like it may have happened before) and that he would look into who called me (I advised him to review the telephone logs as my questions were clear), find out what was said, and I should call him the next day.

When I called him the next day, he informed me that it was himself who had done the initial calls. I said "so it was you that told me it was a survey response and that there were no restrictions on the tickets? " He then said he never said it, and when I said "pardon? ", he told me that I should do something important with my life, called me a jerk (to which I replied unprofessionally as well unfortunately).

I filed a complaint with the BBB, but the main company Crystal Indoor Air is not responsible since the sales team is independent. I also received an incredible letter from a Colette Gill at the Class One telling me that I owed them an apology, no one expects free tickets, and that I would be much nicer if I knew how hard Mr. Blanchet must work to make ends meet. I have all the responses copied into my complaint at the BBB which I let go as I was fighting a corporate veil.

Perhaps if they sold a product with real value in a manner that did not reak of lies and dishonesty, he could work more reasonable hours.

BE WARNED - Hang up on anyone from Class One Air, or who proports to be from Crystal Indoor Air.
