I ordered spiderman costumes for both of my boys at this site. I chose a delivery date of 10/21/05. I received an order confirmation from webshop canada the same day. Two days before my order was due to arrive (10/19/05) I received an order confirmation from Costume disguises.
10/21 came and went, and the costumes did not arrive, nor did they arrive on the 22nd. So, I sent an email to the company on the 22nd to find out the status of my order. I received an automatic reply saying they received my email and would get back to me as soon as possible. Today is the 25th and I still haven't heard from them.
I emailed again yesterday, the 24th. I also called the 800 number twice today and received the message that I should contact them via email. However, if you wait long enough you will get a beep that is supposed to leave a message. I left a message both times to no avail.
Now, Halloween is less that a week away. My kids are set on being Spiderman and I have to go out and spend twice as much to get a costume, if I can even find one.
Of note, my credit card has not yet been charged, but I have no doubt it will be.
I may be naive but I just really despise people who not only ripoff people but also do it when they know that there are children's hearts that will be breaking as a result of their actions.
Please, do NOT do business with this company!
