As a Merchant The Smart Circle Card was a BAD BUSINESS CHOICE. Their marketing story is good but the way they distribute the cards was terrible. It is the WORST marketing effort I have ever been involved with in 26 years of business.
Based on feed back from very unhappy people that bought the card their sales force misrepresented the offer, they claimed to be employeed by my Company creating the impression that I was selling the cards, and asked that checks be made out to ....the Dominic Michael Salon/Smart Circle.
All of these deseptive practices worked against me on many levels.
Brad Hawes the Sales Rep. did stop the sale of the cards after several tragic sales efforts by the incompitant field sales force under the Direction Mark Kernan of the Titan Group.
Mark Kernan and his Sales force did more harm to my good name and Brand Identity that I could have imagined. It has been a nightmare to wade through the complaints and try to resolve the customer issues.
Based on my experience I would never due business with either organization in the future.
