I went to walk around at Metrotown Mall on a Friday. I saw an air condition, Kyoto, was on sale. I asked them if they have it in stock, and they say they do. I live far away from the mall and need my friend who has a car to pick it up, but it's too late, they store was closing. They promised to keep the product in their storage for Monday when my friend is available to help. On Sunday, a guy from the store called me and said the product is defective so they have to ship it back and order a new one for me from Prince George. The product will arrive around Wednesday.

I suspect that they sold the one in stock because they want to sell more product to make money over my priority and try to get away from it by saying the product is broken. First, how did they know it's broke if they they open the box. How could they accept the product to their stock if the box is damage. Second, I ask if it's broke and they really had to ship it back, "where is the paper work they they ship it back? ", they tried to avoid it. They asked me to call to talk with the manager on the next Tuesday. She said the product is on the way from Ontario, (before it was from Prince George). and It's a sale price so they can't do the refund.

They have very bad service and don't want to take responsibility. They could just do the refund as they didn't keep the promise. I actually got my new air condition from elsewhere as I expect they could refund it. All they have to do is just keep the sign on and sell it on the sales price. Summer comes late and they will eventually sell it soon enough because it's getting hot. Anyway, I will never dealt with "Showcase" anymore.
