They claim they're sending you a notice of winnings for $200, 000.00 dollars, with a cheque enclosed for $4, 450.00, that looks authentic. You give them a call and ask about the cheque they tell you to cash it, you do and apparently it clears or so you thought. You call them back tell them you deposited it and they tell you to go to western union and send $2, 950 back to somebody called Lucy Davis to pay a non resident government service tax, you do and then she tells you to send $800 dollars to pay for the insurance on UPS for mailing the $200, 000.00 winnings to you. So when you go back to the bank and try to withdraw the $800 dollars they inform you that the cheque is indeed counterfeit and that you have to pay the bank back for trying to withdraw money that does not exsist. So what do you do, what can you do??
